Vinyl / PVC Fences in Green Bay

Never paint, stain, or seal again. Heavy-gauge vinyl that shrugs off the elements.

Vinyl is the install-it-and-forget-it option. Our panels are heavy-gauge, UV-stabilized, and aluminum-reinforced where it counts — so they stay bright and straight for decades with nothing more than a hose-down.

Overview

Vinyl / PVC fencing in Green Bay & Northeast Wisconsin

Vinyl (PVC) fencing is the lowest-maintenance privacy option we install — no painting, staining, or sealing, ever. For busy Green Bay homeowners who’d rather enjoy the yard than maintain the fence around it, it’s tough to beat. Panels come in privacy, semi-privacy, and picket profiles and in white, tan, gray, and woodgrain finishes to suit any home.

Not all vinyl is equal. Big-box panels are thin and turn brittle in the cold. We install heavy-gauge, UV-stabilized vinyl with aluminum-reinforced bottom rails and gates, all riding on 2-3/8″ galvanized steel posts set in concrete below the frost line — so it stays bright, straight, and rattle-free through Wisconsin winters.

How We Build It

The Vinyl / PVC install process

Every Kodiak install follows the same Wisconsin-tested playbook — permits and Diggers Hotline locates handled, steel posts set below the frost line, and a walkthrough when we're done.

01

Estimate & color selection

We measure, help you choose a profile and color, mark gate locations, and send a clear written quote.

02

Permits & Diggers Hotline locates

We pull your municipal fence permit and call 811 for utility locates before any digging — handled for you across the Green Bay area.

03

Reinforced posts set below the frost line

We set 2-3/8″ galvanized steel posts in concrete below the frost line and sleeve the vinyl posts over them — strength a big-box kit can’t match.

04

Panel & rail assembly

Routed rails lock into the posts and pickets slide in tight: a clean, hidden-fastener system that won’t rattle, sag, or show hardware.

05

Gates, walkthrough & cleanup

We hang and tune the gates, walk the finished fence with you, clear the site, and back it with our written warranty.

Built For Wisconsin

Why it holds up here

Green Bay winters are hard on fences. Here's what we engineer around so yours isn't leaning by spring.

Cold-weather brittleness

Bargain vinyl cracks in deep cold. Heavy-gauge, UV-stabilized panels stay impact-tough at Wisconsin winter temps.

Frost heave

Steel-reinforced posts in concrete below the frost line keep panels from lifting and gapping over the winter.

UV & fade

Built-in UV inhibitors keep whites from yellowing and colors from fading through years of summer sun.

Good To Know

Vinyl / PVC questions

Does vinyl fence get brittle in the cold?

Cheap vinyl can. That’s why we install heavy-gauge, UV-stabilized panels with aluminum-reinforced bottom rails — not thin big-box stock. It handles Wisconsin freeze-thaw without cracking or sagging.

Is vinyl worth more than wood?

Up front it’s usually a bit more, but you never pay to stain, seal, or replace rotted boards — so over 15–20 years vinyl often costs less to own. We’ll show both numbers at your quote.

How do I maintain it?

A garden hose, and occasional soap and water for scuffs. No painting, staining, or sealing — ever. That’s the whole point of vinyl.

Do you need a permit for vinyl fencing?

Yes — same as any fence in the Green Bay area. We pull the permit and handle the 811 utility locates for you.

What colors and styles are available?

White, tan, gray, and woodgrain finishes, in full-privacy, semi-privacy, and picket profiles.
