What we repair

The failures Wisconsin causes

Heaved & leaning posts

Frost heave pushes shallow posts up and out of line. We reset or replace them on 2-3/8″ galvanized steel, in concrete below the frost line, so it doesn't happen again.

Rotted wood posts

Wood posts rot at the ground line and let whole sections lean. We swap them for steel posts that carry the same panels — no more rot, no more lean.

Sagging & dragging gates

Gates that rub, drag, or won't latch usually mean a moving gate post or worn hardware. We re-set posts, re-hang gates, and replace hinges and latches.

Wind & storm damage

Blown-down panels, snapped rails, and impact damage from falling limbs. We match materials as closely as possible and get the line closed back up fast.

Chain link fabric & rails

Bagging mesh, bent top rail, popped tension bands. We re-stretch fabric, replace rail, and re-tension the run so it's drum-tight again.

Plow & vehicle impact

Snowplow, snowblower, and vehicle strikes along driveways and corners. We replace the damaged sections and reinforce the spots that keep getting hit.

Straight answers

Repair it — or stop pouring money into it?

One heaved post or a sagging gate is a repair. Posts failing across the whole line is a replacement — and we'll tell you which one you're looking at, in writing, before you spend a dollar. If a repair will genuinely hold, that's what we'll recommend.

Not sure where your fence lands? Read our guide on whether to repair or replace an old fence — or send us a photo and we'll tell you.

How it works

Three steps to a fixed fence

01
Tell us what broke

Send a few photos with your address — or just describe it. Storm damage? Mention it, and document it for your insurance before anything is moved.

02
Free written repair quote

We assess on-site, tell you honestly whether repair or replacement is the smarter spend, and put the price in writing. No surprises.

03
We fix it right

Repairs get the same standard as new builds — steel posts set below the frost line, proper hardware, and a clean site when we leave.

Fence repair FAQ

Common repair questions

Do you repair fences you didn't build?

Yes. Most of our repair work is on fences other companies (or previous owners) installed. Wood, vinyl, and chain link — if it can be fixed properly, we'll fix it.

Can fence posts be reset in winter?

Often, yes. Frozen ground slows digging but doesn't always stop it, and temporary bracing can hold a section safely until a proper reset. We'll give you an honest call on timing when we see it.

What does fence repair cost in Green Bay?

It depends on what failed and how far it spread — a single gate re-hang is a much smaller job than resetting a run of heaved posts. Every repair gets a free written quote, so you'll have a firm number before any work starts.

My fence blew down in a storm — what should I do first?

Photograph everything before it's moved, for your insurance. Then send us the photos — we can document the damage in our written quote, which many homeowners submit with their claim.

When does repair stop making sense?

When the posts are failing across the whole line, not just in spots. Panels hang on posts — if most posts are rotted or heaved, replacing section by section costs more than doing it right once. We'll tell you straight which side of the line your fence is on.

Do you fix just gates?

Yes — gate-only calls are common. Sagging, dragging, latch misalignment, worn hinges, or a gate post that moved are all standard fixes.
